FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Who is Kekal Credit Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Kekal Impian Sdn. Bhd.)?

Kekal Credit Sdn. Bhd. (“KCSB”) is a company incorporated in Malaysia that provides both conventional and Shariah-compliant personal financing facilities.

The Company was recognised as the Winner of the Best Innovation Award at the Madani Credit Awards 2024, an honour conferred by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (Kementerian Pembangunan Kerajaan Tempatan – KPKT).

2. What products are offered by KCSB?

Kekal Credit Sdn. Bhd. (“KCSB”) offers conventional personal financing facilities for non-civil servants and Shariah-compliant personal financing for civil servants.

For civil servants, monthly instalment payments are made through salary deductions administered by Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (“ANGKASA”).

3. Are these products based on Shariah principles?

KCSB’s Shariah-compliant personal financing is structured based on the Commodity Murabahah (via Tawarruq) Shariah principle.

4. Who is eligible to apply for this financing?

Shariah-Compliant Personal Financing (Civil Servants)

You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:

  • Aged between 20 and 58 years old
    (The maximum financing tenure is capped at one year before retirement, with the retirement age capped at 58 years)
  • Hold a permanent civil service position for more than 6 months and are not on probation;
  • Have a minimum gross monthly income of RM1,700; and
  • Are not an undischarged bankrupt or undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.

Conventional Personal Financing (Non-Civil Servants)

You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:

  • Aged between 20 and 58 years old
    (The maximum financing tenure is capped at one year before retirement, with the retirement age capped at 58 years)
  • Hold a permanent employment position for more than 6 months and are not on probation;
  • Have a minimum gross monthly income of RM1,700; and
  • Are not an undischarged bankrupt or undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.

5. What documents or information do I need to provide for my financing application?

You will be required to submit the following documents:

  • A copy of your identification card;
  • Copies of your latest three (3) months’ salary slips;
  • A bank statement for the account receiving your monthly salary;
  • A bank statement for the account to receive the financing proceeds;
  • An employment verification letter; and
  • BPA 1/79 ANGKASA Form, certified by the authorised employer
    (Applicable to civil servants only).

6. Am I eligible to apply if I am under the AKPK Debt Management Programme or have CTOS/ CCRIS records?

You may still apply. However, approval is subject to KCSB’s credit assessment and applicable terms and conditions.

7. Do I need a guarantor or collateral?

No guarantor or collateral is required for this financing. However, this remains subject to KCSB’s credit evaluation and discretion.

8. Do I need to pay any membership fees or service fees?

No. You are not required to pay any membership fees or service fees to any third party under any circumstances.

9. How will the instalment payments be made?

  • Conventional Personal Financing: Monthly instalments will be paid via bank auto-debit.
  • Shariah-Compliant Personal Financing: Monthly instalments will be paid via salary deduction through Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA).

10. Can I apply directly through KCSB’s digital platform?

Yes. KCSB welcomes direct applications, including applications made through its digital platform.
