Personal Data & Privacy Policy

INTRODUCTION

This Notice is issued pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”). By engaging with Kekal Credit Sdn. Bhd. (“Kekal Credit”), you consent to the processing of your Personal Data as described in this Notice.

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

We may collect identification details, contact information, employment and income details, salary deduction information (ANGKASA / SPGA), CTOS / CCRIS / FIS data, eKYC biometric and liveness data, financial information, repayment data, and digital behaviour data from our digital platform.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Your data is processed for application, onboarding, identity verification (including eKYC), credit evaluation, salary deduction processing, repayment administration, arrears management, compliance with PDPA / AMLA / audit regulations, internal operations, fraud prevention, system enhancement, customer communication, and permitted marketing.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

Your data may be disclosed to ANGKASA, employers, credit reporting agencies, eKYC providers, auditors, legal advisers, system vendors, regulators, and enforcement bodies, on a strict need-to-know basis.

In addition, your Personal Data may be disclosed, shared, and processed within Kekal Credit's group of companies, including its holding company, subsidiaries, related companies, and associated companies, for purposes consistent with this Notice, including business operations, credit assessment, risk management, customer servicing, and marketing (where consent is obtained).

CONSEQUENCES OF FAILURE TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

Failure to provide complete and accurate data may result in our inability to process your financing application, perform identity, or credit checks, process salary deduction, disburse funds, or maintain your account.

SECURITY MEASURES

We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards including encryption, secure servers, restricted access, monitoring and compliance controls to protect your Personal Data.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your Personal Data will be retained as long as required to fulfil the purpose of collection, meet legal requirements, or protect Kekal Credit’s legitimate interests.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your Personal Data may be stored or processed on secure servers located outside Malaysia, subject to strict confidentiality safeguards.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER PDPA

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate information, withdrawal of consent (subject to legal limits), or opt-out from marketing.
